Shakira Cancels WorldPride and Boston Concerts Due to Safety Concerns

The cancellation also ruined the gears for her following performance in Washington, D.C., where she was scheduled to headline the opening of WorldPride 2025. The organizers confirmed the cancellation as the whole production of the tour was unable to make it in time to Nationals Park. Shakira explained her heartbreak regarding the cancellations, emphasizing that she is committed to safety. Supporters were dismayed, particularly at the omission of mention of the Pride event from her cancellation statement.
